마지막 만찬

내일이면 또 어찌 될지 모르기에.. 지금이라도 이 녀석들을 위해 파티를 해주고 싶었다.
집 앞에 있는 마트에서 삼겹살 300그램과 목살 300그램과 상추등을 사는데, 왜 그리 자꾸 눈시울이 붉어지는지..
날씨가 추워 외출 제대로 나간적도 없는데, 내가 인간이기 때문에 이 녀석들이 불쌍하고 안쓰러운걸까..
내가 불쌍하고 안쓰럽기 때문에, 이 녀석들도 그렇게 보인걸까…
그래서 이녀석들과 나는 더 허겁지겁 먹었는지도 모른다. 셋이서 쪼그려 앉아서…
